B. Daniel Lynch advises and represents clients at all stages of the process of obtaining and keeping a security clearance.
His background in Defense-related matters goes back to working for a major defense contractor, Sperry Gyroscope Company. After
obtaining a B.S. degree in physics at Queens College, he served on active duty as a Naval Flight Officer with a secondary
military occupational specialty in intelligence, and, after release from active duty, obtained a law degree from Stanford
Law School, and served for 13 years with a USMCR military law unit. He was an Asst. U.S. Attorney for the Central District
of California, followed by extensive litigation practice in state and federal courts. He now represents clients before the
DOD, Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals and other agencies at both the hearing and appellate level. He also advises clients
regarding Special Compartmentalized Information clearance revocations, which follow the same Guidelines as clearances.
He is a member of the California State Bar and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and is admitted to
practice before the courts of California, Washington, federal district courts in northern and southern California, and the
U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and was the author of an article on the Federal Rules of Evidence.
